Face Age Is Not Your Real Age

Why Do I Look Older In Some Photos?
Light from above, strong shadows, a downward head angle, squinting and close-up selfies all make lines and shadows look deeper. Try a photo in soft daylight, facing the camera at arm's length, with a relaxed expression.
Why Did I Get A Different Age With Another Photo?
Each photo shows your face a little differently. Lighting, angle, camera quality and expression all change what the AI sees. Try two or three good photos and look at where the results overlap.
Does It Work For Children And Older Adults?
It works best for adults roughly between 18 and 65. Results for young children and people over 70 are less reliable, because those ages are less common in the photos the model learned from.
